  • Excellent in dry and wet. Sidewalls get filthy easily but not too hard to clean.
Wouldn't be overly keen on riding them through the winter.

  • I can see on their website that, but they haven't always been tubeless so I'm waiting to hear from the distribution what they have in-stock.

  • Had a look at these over the weekend

    they're nice

  • Haven't the 650 been tubeless compatible since they launched?

  • The 'new' would suggest otherwise

  • Looking for some smooth Gum-walls in around 700x38c for a fast commute and some summer touring. Folding bead and less than £40 per tyre - Any recommendations?

Oh I just seen on the Panaracer website they have released Gravelking's in 38c, but I can't find them online yet?

  • wanna order these with me?

  • I read a review of the 35mm Gravel Kings and the reviewer said he measured them on various rims and the 35mm averaged 38mm. I've gone for the 35s as my Steamroller should only fit up to 38s

  • Is there a smooth/file tread 35mm GK? I only see knobblies on their site in that size. They do seem to release a new model every week though

  • Too Gravel-esque for me,

I'm a nasty mud or smooth road kind of guy!

  • Gravelking then, they come in 700x38c .. tubeless too

    Also Re-fuse but not gumwall

I'd still be keen to split postage if you are getting from bike24

  • Selling some hardly used compass Bon Jons 35c if you're interested?

  • If @mk1mark isn't interested I am.

  • ^ Sorry, I missed that reply.

Does anyone know where I can find a pair of Black & Brown Gravel Kings in 38c? (the slick ones)

Everywhere online I try is now sold out.

    Thanks.

  • sigma or evans always have stocked

  • maybe someone has any experience about Compass 700C x 44 Snoqualmie Pass ?
thinking should I go for compass, o Panaracer gravel king SK 700x43, perhaps compass would be much more faster, but gravel king more practical of tarmac and puncture protection

  • I am not sold on Compass, there are better cheaper tyres. G one, Sawtooth, Gravel King.

  • Despite these lasting a maximum of 1000km, I’ve bought some more challenge strada Biancas
They are simply brillant on cobbles

  • What width?

I see they come in quite a few widths, 25-30-33 even a 36 I just spotted.

  • Seems you can't get Veloflex Master for £25 any more, what's the next best thing that isn't absurdly expensive?

    Edit: in a 25mm or maybe 28mm

  • Panaracer Pasela are decent and generally low cost.

  • This is for my friend's sporty road bike, so I think he might want something a bit faster - it says things like "commuting" and "touring" in the description.

  • Veloflex Master are lovely tyres and were a bargain at that price.

Vittoria Corsa G+ seem like they'd be similar, and possibly even quicker.

Paselas are fine road tyres though. Are they racing?

  • Yeah, don't know why they seem to be out of stock everywhere at the moment - hoping they've not stopped making them! I've got a set on my old wheels but they're absolutely filthy, might keep them just in case I ever want to go back to 25mm.

Not racing no, but the odd triathlon and sportive. So no great need for speed, but on the other hand he does have a second bike that is more of a mile-muncher, so no reason not to go all out speed on the fancy carbon one.

  • Do you usually throw your tyres away when they get dirty?
