North drinks, Flasking a question

I don't go to Norths that much. Mainly cause it is getting stale, I don't like routine. I love meeting up with all you guys though, the few times we did go on tour was ace. Two out of three times it was because of me, so I'm putting this up to a poll...

Should we at least go on tour for a bit. Every week? Once a week? Once a month? Twice a month? or no?

None of the regulars at the pub particularly enjoyed us being there last night, and neither did the staff. Apart from that one guy behind the bar.

Beer prices have risen in there, and that ace garden can warrant premium prices....

It would be good to explore more pubs but the Flask is home - plus i need the exercise

Owen, I'm not sure what you mean by "not enjoying us being there". Do you mean the rest of Norths? or the other customers?

If it's the first, we DO enjoy you all up there. If it's the second, I couldn't care less...

Sounds like Norths has pedalled the same route as Wests...

Wouldn't mind a monthly visit to other pubs, just for the sake of cycling around with you lot. But the Flask is in a way keeps us together. It might not be the greatest pub in the world but it is our home every Tuesday. Loosing that, means loosing our identity as a group of people that like meeting together (such a group of sweaty men up the hill...)

For me as for others, it is not only about the price of the beer. It is about keeping this group together. Having a place that we can relate to is essential for this as it becomes something that we all share. Said that, NOT drinks can always be done any other day of the week too.

Sometimes it would be nice to have the Staff be more appreciative of our custom.

Hey I'm not saying it isn't a bad pub. I like it actually. I love the garden, and i'd eat the food if i wasnt a jonny skintofarian.

I also love oreo's but i don't buy them every tuesday

Can you be more specific about the trouble you have had with the staff? I've never had any problems with them.
