On a smaller scale, bought a Temde lamp for our bedroom.
Buying lightbulbs is not as easy as it used to be. Already regret the decision to go for expensive 1,5w Phillips as they can't be dimmed.

I think it's fun. But the big bulbs dont work as they don't screw in all the way.
Looks like this now, the 9 retro bulbs are under veto so we'll get the modern ones.
But those are 3 watt and Osram doesn't make this model anymore it seems.

Looking at the picture I guess the uniform one without writing is better.

it was the fitting to the ceiling I wouldn't be able to live with.

Its the original it came with.
Definitely needs painting but I don't have off white spray paint/am lazy. -

Random bulb selection is way better! Haters gonna hate.
If you want to go uniform, Tala do an E27 frosted golfball with no printing on the bulb.

It's fun, yes.
If random worked I it would stay. Maybe I can pull the fixings out a bit.
But then it's our bedroom, so 1 who cares and 2 zen and whatnot.
Tala unfortunately not common here in Germany. There was an Osram, the one in front, but have to find it again. But thanks for Golfball, a45 not common as a name.
Also the lamp has 2 circuits, would be nice to have a switch for those. -

The tala ones are well nice, but might be too short.
Also, at least 15€ per bulb. -

Yeah not cheap. A little bit syrupy in colour too, but that’s good for a bedroom. I think they have a long warranty though so price might not be too bad overall.
Do you/will you have kids?
If so I think having a space like the original drawing is useful.
Alternatively, in the latest drawing if you had wall bench seating it would allow you to move the table closer to the wall and gain a play area for your kids that you could view while cooking.
