Gilbert doesnt look to be enjoying the harsh and unforgiving ride of alu there^^

there were some interesting comments on that article - especially the bit about Pro's using Record instead of Super Record so that the teams can get more groups and sell the surplus ones on.
I guess it comes down to cash at the end of the day - I know for a fact that Rapha Condor Sharp riders only have one Dura Ace group between TT and Road bikes, which the mechanics have to swap over, how mental is that?

Are they really that tight on money? Serious question.

I guess so - all the team bikes/gear gets sold off at the end of the season to recoup as much money as possible. The cost of running a team like that must be fairly high.

I'd have thought they'd just keep the groupset though then have twice as many next year.
-
• #682
I guess that those groupsets are pretty trashed by the end of the year. Probably see more action in 12 months than most peoples will in 4-5yrs

Yeah I was thinking that.

on one carbon disc cx frame

http://on-one.co.uk/news/products/q/date/2011/10/14/dirty-disco-pre-order
on that cgi it almoast looks as if the frame had swampable dropouts but I kind of doubt that.

So the next band wagon is SSCX then?
Well I went SSCX around 2 years ago so that would be right as I am usually a couple of years ahead of the trends.
Or is that 30 years behind maybe?

oh no. They didn't.

why did they draw tomatoes on it?

£1900 for some Chinese eBay frame and 105? Oh dear.
-
• #693
It's quite impressive how quickly you could go to market with a range of open mould CF frames
-
• #694
I did'nt mind it untill I saw the price.
Full carbon frame with internal cabling, and tapered steerer.
Full 105 drive.
Mid range Easton components.
Seems a neat package. But for 2k, based on a open mould framset. Something from PX, Ribble, PedalForce, Rossetti etc. Would blow it out of the water. -

About the closest Condor seem to have got to a 2012 range. New Squadra colours:

I actually quite like the lary yellow. Condor logo's a bit shit tho.

Please feel free to adjust your monitors, though it won't help. Really, it won't.

Quite simply the ugliest thing I have seen for quite some time...the Pinarello Diesel 2012.

Genious.

Ideally clicking through the wiggle 2012 range and thought this looked quite tasty. Not crazy value, but nicely put together.
