Ercol do a nice bed sold by John Lewis. ยฃ1300 though.

Can confirm, is nice. They have quite a range beyond that actually.

so Made.com are going to die.
I am not sad; my heartstrings they were not pulled

My partner bought a dresser/tallboy from them, tried to persuade her not to and get something from g-plan or similar second hand or the better habitat stuff.
canโt say i was that impressed but they look ok.
Not something you would consider selling on or being reused, i see their stuff like fast fashion, a bit ephemeral and not made to to last.
that said the lamp also bought was nicely made. -

We want 8 dining chairs. Our table is the Hay triangle leg but don't want matching Hay chairs. There's a fair amount of Douglas Fir going to be in the house. Our current two faves (which aren't ยฃ1k plus per chair are):
We have a small toddler so not sure if upholstered is the best idea but do think I prefer it
What are our other options hive mind...

budget option, just.

haha that's the chair mentioned above, sat in it in both TTO shops on Saturday and asked the price both times - once you get it upholstered and in oak it's ยฃ1450
it is lovely

The outlet store is good for deals, lots of stuff about half price on there. I was very tempted by a Bosco bed when I was looking.

Viaduct had a pair of ex-display ones in oak a few years back and I really wish I'd got them.

We managed to pick up an Ercol Bosco bed a few years ago when a furniture store was closing down. Really solid bed.

Maybe not the right vibe but some chairs i like - Michael Marroitt's ola or bird. Couple of new chairs from Takt too:

Apologies if asked a dozen times already but anyone know of any nice bike frame wall hanging options? Maybe something made of wood that doubles as a shelf.
-
• #1192
Thatโs great, playful and practical!

Anyone have some tips for care of a marble table? I've recently got one and it has already picked up a couple of (very light) water marks.
I've read that marble polishing powder is the thing to use. Correct? Any preferred brand?

Very nice, maybe a bit much for me as i'm just hanging a frameset but something to think about.
If you haven't already you should post some pics of that Burls in the road fixed thread!

I'm a fan of the Hans Wagner wishbone, and elbow. Swiveluk do some nice replicas

Anyone have any experience with Charlie Pommier furniture and can comment on quality? It seems pretty nice and (although obvs not cheap) not as ridiculous as some designer stuff.

Can anyone recommend a source for modern all weather garden tables?
-
• #1199
for weather reistance without breaking the bank - look for aluminium + polywood options. hay palisade is the other one that pops up a lot.

If you get Alu I'd recommend taking the bolts out and smothering in copper grease. My folks Alu garden furniture is >30yo and largely in good nick, but not being able to take it apart to get it properly dipped and repainted is a pain.
