not being a metallurgist, ive no idea how this compares to Columbus XCR or Reynolds 953...anyone know the answer?
interesting to see you can purchase direct from them...eg a complete tubeset for $389! (£250?...) http://www.kvastainless.com/shop/product_info.php/cPath/22/products_id/33
....if only i could braze...(makes some of the custom frame prices charged seem a little steep if you can purchase high end tubing so cheaply, no?...)
oh and theres a UK supplier....frame plus SRAM Force build + 15llbs!
That price doesnt include high cost parts like BB shell or drop outs though.
Man, good news. Ive been lusting after that stuff for some time. Good to know that its freely available now. Costs about half of what XCR costs. It`s nowere near as fancy as 953 and should lead to heavier bikes since it has bigger wallthicknesses but i would love to build a frame with it.

Interesting stuff; if anyone orders some can I get in on that please?
Just want one PG bit to practise with.
i am really interested in things like this too, if anyone wants to do a bulk purchase or has done already then let us know here in the Forum.
