On a separate note, how insensitive is the guy interviewed who's organising the street party; "..we won’t let it affect us or ruin the day." Basically, saying "I didn't know him so I don't care". What a complete arse. If this wasn't on a respectable news site, I'd have thought it was a wind-up.

when I was in my early teens I was mucking around an estate, and came a cropper with a parked car, dislocated my shoulder badly (first time of many) and cracked the windshield in the process, so could imagine that a quick loss of concentration could end in an accident.
Feelings go out to his relatives.
