I used both. Allen key ones on Pista Record and a regular bolt with a dust cup on Triomphe and old flutted Record Pista.
It depends what you're after

you dont need them to use the cranks. just watch the classifieds or ebay for cheap. -

I tried that. They didn't fully engage, or something. Can't remember. It was a while ago. But I'm sure they were shit compared to the hex-socket shipped version.

Hey i bought this crank and came with this bolt instade of the allenkey bolt. Any one knoe why? or this is the original? if not so where can i get a replacement original allenkey bolt from and how much.
