    thank you every one
I will donate some money to the forum once receive the payment.

Come on then, tell us what you got for it, and I think the buyer should come forward and explain their rationale? You did sell it on-forum didn't you?

  • Clearly hasn't sold

  • Ive just snapped up this bargain, you're all mugs

  • you probably got the snapping bit right.

  • Murtle- nope: the yellow heap has the points left on the head lugs, and the real Cinelli's shown don't- they're rounded, cut off, I say its a copy.

The dimple in the rh/drive side chainstay matches, but they probably bought like that.

The forks would provide more evidence if original.

A frame number would provide lots of evidence!

  • i bought it. tomder thanks for the sale. excellent bike just fixed it up, riding to uni by euston sta........ DIES

  • "RIP" :-(

Dearly beloved we are gatthered at the sad demise of Dae and his wreck of a machine, as very recently sold by Tomder, donations via LFGS to Dae's folks to bury the frame in the local tip

  • F*** ME! This sold?? To whom?

  • He met charlie sheen in the street and convinced him it was 'full of win' and would make a really cool crack pipe.

  • AS shite as this frame is how many people are thinking that it would be a nice project? just not wanting to pay "NICEMONEY" for it?

And the seller sounds like a S/H car dealer my Dad worked with in the 80's
" shes a nice little bike this one, I would of kept it for the wife but you got me at the right time, yeah it's a genuine cinelli, a really tidy bike gonna fetch some nice money, i'll even chuck in some mats"

  • would be a nice project if it was actually possible to fix it properly without spending more than you paid for it... even then it's still a lump of cash for a non-authentic paintjob, and unproven provenance...

  • It's an odd bike this, it does look like a Cinelli track frame but I've never seen a yellow one and the paint looks cheap.

    Maybe repainted for a team?

  • head lugs are wrong

I do think its best to let it rust in peace, or was it pieces

  • Too late, i pity whoever bought this...

  • no one has brought this. seller is just acting the goat

  • naaaaaaaaaaaaaah, he's not

  • guys... right im not dead. and have done the frame up. it looks glorious!

  • naaaaaaaaaaaaaah, he's not

    Shit impression of a goat.

  • sowwy :(

  • I don't understand why Tomder doesn't post a pictures of the frame's BB shell.

  • Maybe he's hurt...

  • :(

  • I think you just need to write him a letter of apology and some ferrero rocher, it's all just a simple misunderstanding...

  • Lugs/BB shells etc can be emulated easily or were purchased from cinelli to be assembled by an independent builder-many folks such as Vanni Losa worked for high end companies and earned reputations in their own right so went on to build for themselves.

Point is, it could be a cinelli, but it could be a lot of things, so selling it as a cinelli without much more than someone's say-so is a bit rich. What's even more optimistic is selling it at that price and in that condition with the say so it can actually be fixed for a sane amount of money.

But fuck it. Good luck to whomever has or has not bought it...

  • guys... right im not dead. and have done the frame up. it looks glorious!

So, you bought the frame, then traveled back to Aug 2010 to restore it? or am I simply not understanding a joke? http://www.milanofixed.com/cinelli-leggerissimo-pista/
