It'll fit but your chainline will be out by 2mm

ah I forgot to take into account of the chainline, cheers! 2mm quite a big difference in chainline terms?

It'll be noisy and may wear out the drivetrain quicker. As you're running a SS crank you can't space the chainrings further in.

What's brand is the 107mm BB? Miche are ISO and your JIS (if that's what they are) will sit further in.
You should ideally make sure your fitting ISO to ISO, JIS to JIS etc.
Sheldon is over there >>>>>
It seems to be unbranded as it came with my frame but, its definitely a JIS version which should be right for the RD2. I guess I should look for a 103mm on the safe side then!
thanks guys

I ran a 107 as a replacement for a 103 on my fuji track without a problem, was not even that noisy. It was really hard to find a 103 when the stock shitty fuji track one gave out on me. I think on lower end components you can get away with a lot more. I do agree on keeping iso and jis together though again dont get obsessed get out and ride.

I utfs but couldn't find anything on this.
I'm pretty new to road bikes as such as I've ridden bmx all my life... but would using cranks that were designed for a certain sized taper matter if you used a bb that was longer than what is needed? for example;
using a sugino rd2 with a 107mm bb when its actually designed for 103mm? does it just not fit?
