This morning's commute and other commuting stories

I won on Sunray Avenue today.
I dunno if there was racing, but it looked like people were trying. So I tried.

Saw two cyclists crash at Elephant and Castle. Commuter racing gone bad, too close as they were setting off from the lights.

I needed a poo all the way in

Can't see it on Strava yet, so it doesn't count. Unless you've blocked me.

Have to admit to trying on Col de South Clapham last night. Three chaps had annoyed me somewhat with their "racing" and bad road manners. So when the incline hit, so did I! Booyaka!

I haven't synced it yet. It's still on my watch.

It's about 1/30, maybe less steep than that.

Col de South Clapham? I can't even begin to fathom where this is.

it's the 'hill' coming up from balham just before clapham south station.

Usually marked by the broken glass at the top outside the pub as the southern boundary of the 2 mile cunt zone that is clapham -> stockwell where neanderthal cunts seem to enjoy smashing bottles into the street roughly every 30yds or so.

But they didn't have glass in the early Stone Age...

Two fun things today. had someone sitting on my wheel, i was behind a massive lorry towards the right of the lane looking to see if there was room to overtake, rider squeezes past me on the right forcing me to the left, but doesn't overtake, basically just takes my nice vantage point. I swang to the left as if i was going to undertake, he fucking follows me and i move back to my position leaving him to look like a twat. satisfying conclusion.

second way less fun thing was my bars fucking snapped, and my bike and knee are all fucked up
