    To buy

  • hehe i would like to get 1 as well :)

  • ribble are doing one at the moment for 36 quid i think.

Much cheaper than the big bad Park one and from a cursory glance much better (and cheaper) than the baby Park one.

My 2p is you might be waiting a while for a second hand one. Good tools hold their value. To anyone going all out on the Park stuff I'm pretty sure Jenson will be cheaper even if you get stung on import tax.

  • I do indeed rate the one above, but if anyone wants a cheaper alternative that is a perfectly decent stand I now have one of these Minoura ones surplus, folds flat for storage, very sturdy, yours for £25:

  • It seems a bit unfair to jump in but I'm thinking about building some wheels so may be interested in the stand. Are you London based? And is wheel building really as hard as it's made out to be?

  • I'm in SE1/Waterloo, but the OP has first dibs as that's only fair, 2nd dibs to the guy that jumped the thread before you!

  • That is more than fair enough!

  • T12 it's yours mate :) as i would need it posted.
and wheel building is piss easy, i was in your same situation a while back, watched a couple of youtube vids and realised how easy it was.
    good luck
