Which crank extractor for Campag Mirage?

Will any square taper extractor work? They are 5 year old 9 speed cranks on a square taper Campag bb.

The only thing you need to look out for is that the tip of the extractor is not designed for ISIS/Octalink Bottom brackets, the tip will be a few mm larger than what you need.

i.e, you need one like this, and *not *this.

Might be able to help me with something similar.
Im converting a raleigh 501 and im struggling with the crank removal.
Bought a crank puller but it doesnt thread into the crank far enough to pull it out.
Any ideas?

bump. similar problem except the guy who put the cranks on my bike has un-threaded where I'd usually thread the crank extractor so it won't go in properly. Tried using a hammer (gently), one arm still stuck solid? Grrrrr.
