Diesel on Clapham Road

We have heard of a diesel spill on Clapham road, north of Stockwell tube, caused chaos for cyclists this morning. Someone said they were falling like flies on the super highway.

Did anyone go down or see what happened?

Ah - it must have been pretty early. The 'superhighway' was closed and they were covering it with coloured grit as I came past - would have been about 8.30 in the am.

It was the bit of Clapham Road straight after the roundabout thing by Stockwell. Didn't see any riders down, but it would have been tricky as it's just where everyone speeds up after the bunching through the roundabout there.

After Stockwell CS7 was taped off going into town this morning when I went past around 9.30.
Light blue granules on the taped off smurfway. The whole length of it has a pretty poor surface now
