@withered_preacher thanks will check
@JB strong look . really nice. im envious as i get nervous about wearing anything slightly above beige
Really like that. Sold out everywhere I find it though :(
Seen it somewhere for sale?
I like mine a lot, seems well made and nice and simple. In fact, I think I'll probably just keep it...
This is nice, any idea what it's called?
quality is fantastic
Why of course. It's an Engineered Garments Workaday BD Shirt. I am afraid I can't find any UK stockists though. Nepenthes London don't have an SS21 Workaday delivery yet, only standard EG stuff.
Link here to Nepenthes NY anyway: https://nepenthesny.com/collections/workaday/products/bd-shirt-combo-royal-cp-oxford
Kafka have the other colours, though: https://www.kafkamercantile.com/uk/browse/Mens/b-EngineeredGarmentsWKDY-600/
I feel you. My wife ordered a large as well. I'd have ordered a medium, personally as I knew they are oversized, so it's extremely oversized. Tbh I've really learnt to just not care what people think of how I'm dressed. I saw a guy with a full on monk haircut the other day so I'm pretty casual by comparison. He was probably 25 - ha.
Nice take on a classic fun shirt
Echoing this, super nice cap and would love to find somewhere selling it. Some similarities to a Rapha city range cap I had a few years back but much less cycling cap and more usable for daily life
IdealCapCo does mostly baseball caps (back to the earliest short brim styles) but they make a selection of worker hats too.
Mostly in wool, some in canvas.
I got mine from Kafka but yeah can’t see it in stock anywhere now.
Got a cable ami beanie I rate as well.
Fowks were talking about wide brims lately.
Here’s mine from Brixton
Who made those braces/suspenders?
Ha, it’s actually a Brooks backpack.
I do have some similar coloured bracers from Filson, and some navy ones from Nigel Cabourn.
I assume you said something really cutting about me looking like an aging hipster attempting to ape Monty Don.
I’m crushed by the imagined slight, crushed I say!
Ha! I actually said:
Based on how the straps curve under @Eeyorecore 's armpits, I reckon it's a backpack.
But then I was unsure and didn't want to look stupid. Ha. Looks like I was right after all.
I was half expecting them to be sideclip suspenders
Looking good. I’ve always thought Gaz Mayall sets the bar for wide brimmed cool.
Has anyone got recommendations for redying black trousers? My Stan Rays are looking very grey and worn after a single wash (I wear them for work so they get too dirty/dusty to just not wash them).
Fiber Reactive Dyes are your best bet, though home dying is never as colourfast as factory unless it was meant to fade in the first place.
You can try vinegaroon too, but it would likely shorten the life of the cloth.
I've always used a packet of Dylon when dyeing blue denim black, it does fade to grey eventually but just redye when necessary... I actually need to darken up some of my favourite black t-shirts...
