  • I know I always say this, but I really think Speedypete, Simple and 2Squeak are getting a lot better. They seem to be in the right places much more often, score more goals, and leave fewer gaps in defence. Also, calling for passes/telling people where they are too. I especially liked Simple telling Rob what to do all the time! You really need a lower gear on that bike now. Seeding you guys is going to be tough...

  • I especially liked Simple... Seeding you guys is going to be tough...

    ha, sorry, potty mind

Aww warm fuzzy feeling. My Goal was epic. My knees also tell me I need a lower gear, I'd also like a one handed brake lever widgetty thing, have you got another one in at the shop yet Danski? The bike is alot better for polo than I imagined it would be for an OTP £170 jobbie.

If you put me below Simon 2 Squeak Stinkwheel the Lamoth I'll be more offended than a Peter who gets called Simn on Sundays and Wednesdays. Fact.

  • ha, sorry, potty mind

That is so obscure I'm struggling to see how you made that link.

Thinks Void needs to discover some new porn websites, must be frustrated to link so tediously just to get an innuendo!<

PS Void did you really only take about 7 pictures on Sunday or are you hiding all the shots of Danski's arse that you took for yourself?

    haha

  • My Goal was epic.

You scored a few didn't you? The one past me was best (I was robbed).

No double levers at work - I can get one in if you like, but you'd have to cover postage (about £4), so the total would be around £15, and it may take a little time as we'd need to compile a shop-order.

Alternatively, ask Dan_LJ if he wants to flog his one (he has a different model now).

Get an MTB chainset and use the granny ring (take off the middle and outer and sell them). You may need a wider b/b, but you could do the whole lot for £20-30 if you get bargains.

  • where do I put the piece of paper dan?

  • Email, or private message me your list, unless you're playing on Sunday?

  • SpeedyPetes own goal HA HA HA!

I scored four (one disallowed, one a semi shuffle so i'm not counting that one, the one past you and the epic one from far far away.) Pete Simon Bob the third's own goal was good too. hehe!

The postage is £4 even if it's chucked in with a shop order? Or is this an order to the shop just for the lever?

I have my chainset off my Marin, just got to get round to doing it. I quite like nipping to my mates house on the pink thing (hence no wheel discs at the moment), i'm quite upset at the thought of losing the road gearing, it'll be worth it though if I can keep up with the action in polo...and dodge Simon/Dave.

  • Nah, I think with that supplier is no minumum-order, so we could just order the lever for you with postage. No need to wait for a larger order.

  • Cool, have you got a link to the lever? I'll pm Dan LJ

  • No link for the lever I'm afraid. It's a 'savage' or 'pro-...' something or other - I blogged about it, there's a pic there...

Three e-votes received so far. If you can't make it on Sunday, make sure you send me your votes, otherwise you won't get counted. No polo, no vote-o.

  • @ Void - is the Maple Park guy, the real Forrest Gump?

  • Spotted - park bench!

  • Never seen Forrest Gump, if it's anything like that I'm going to rectify that asap.

Check this shit at 7:03, looks like an exploding old man.

    YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

Oh, I have the disc with all the polo pics from the other day, give it you tomorrow if I'm in.

  • Cool.

Ha ^ fart lighting one was the best, but so many close-seconds.

  • Anyone still riding fixed polo here?

I took a bunch of stuff off my new bike tonight in preparation of building it back up as an mix-up of my old bike and new bike, anyways... I have an unused Surly 19T track cog and lockring ,and as it's a relatively low gear it might be useful for someone here.

    http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=surly+track+cog+19T&aq=f

I'll have +/- a whole bike for sale next week, I'll post that on the Trades and Sales though, this is just a heads up in advance for BHX polo people...

  • still after a stem for my polo horse after royal fail let me down.
    WHY?

  • what length and clamp size?

Guessing really-fucking-short and 25.4mm clamp but don't remember if you fitted OS bars yet.

  • My Tioga cube is redundant if you wish to borrow....

  • Fuck it..you can have it.

  • 7.03 is some poor bastard having his tea break, his colleagues rigged his seat with an air bag.. hence him hitting the roof and KO.

Love the dog stealing the number plate.

Si, bring in Sunday, MY bike is standard bar the Simon shaped dents in it.

  • Dog and number plate = dogs are awesome.
Cat and tv on douchebags head = cats are evil, calculating misfits.
