Yeah the stays are pretty nuts, there is no number anywhere on it unfortunately.

I think a front disc brake would really finish this off.
Can't quite see from the picture. Does it have a stand? -

Which one are you? -

I still have the full Sachs New Success group set that could go on it with a little work I suppose.
Not sure about that. A picture of the drive side would be good. Does it have a gear hanger? Front mech braze on? And you'd have to get an almighty band to go round that downtube for shifters/ guides! Strange cos it has vertical dropouts yet no braze ons (or has it?)

What's a semi-vertical drop out?
A dole blugger who spend most of his days reclining at 45 degrees? -

It doesn't have any braze ons but did have shifters on the downtube which I took off and filled in as the front mech cable touched the frame on the way under the bb. Not clean at all. Has a gear hanger on the back. Not sure whether dropouts were original as they are removable by allen key. Dropouts have about 2cm of movement not quite vertical, coming slightly back towards the bike.

not convinced on the Aegis theory, I'm thinking more there's been a number of prototype carbon frames built over the years and this is another- I'm thinking it has the KHS look about it though, and could be entirely wrong there!
A frame number or bottom bracket marking may give a clue
such skinny rear stays is amazing - suspecting a carbon wrap on aly
