If they don’t work I’d be very interested. #vulture
These looks like they could go cheap considering the high starting price
What's a fair price for a BNiB pair of Indy's in size 10UK? I haven't even unboxed mine and not sure I'll wear them anytime soon.
Tricky one, I've seen pairs in good condition go from anywhere between £150 (someone got lucky!) to £350-400
Looking at finished auctions on ebay maybe £250 if you want to give someone a good deal, or £300ish otherwise?
OK - these are brand new and retail is £450? I'd have hoped for 300-350 tbh
I think that's pretty fair tbh, esp when you have box etc
Uk retail is more like £600 ?
If I was stateside I’d be tempted to give these guys a go http://www.johndoeshoes.com/
2009 Red Wing 3141s fresh back from the second factory resole of their life. Love 'em.
That's really lovely.
William Lennon boots turned up today (ordered end of February, so that includes the factory closure). Heavy-duty is apt.
Ha! I have almost exactly the same but brass eyelets. Bit annoyed with mine, they used some ugly white leather to strengthen under the laces. Doesn’t look like they did that on yours..
I was quite possibly influenced by hebtroco moto boots and some other similarly styled pairs. The leather underside the eyelets has black surface, if that's what you meant. The edge is fairly light gray, but I don't think it sticks out too much.
Drakes factory shop have Aldens and Paraboots in sale. If you’re a size 9 you will have fun
Hmm I should dig them out, haven’t seen them in a while
Very nice; which leather is that?
It's waxed reverse leather, same as at least hill boots on their website.
Ta. I ordered (another) pair of their cycle shoes last month, and asked about having them made in that for scuff-proofness, but was told the kip-out leather was too thick to be used for that model. Instead Libs suggested one of the Chromexcel leathers that they've used for moto boots in the past.
Talking of which. I have a pair of their cycling shoes in size 10/eu 44 going spare.
Can anyone recommend me a pair of dealer boots nubuck leather non steel toe caps
Red wing? I might have a pair in uk9 for sale
Erm, dibs? What colour are they?
Did I mention they need to be cheap. There going to get covered in mud most of the time
Why nubuck then? Wouldn’t a regular leather be tougher?
For work boots I’d say blundstones. They’re spendy to buy but lasts ages so cheap in the long run. And super comfy.
I was thinking more like £30
