Pleased to report that the sale of spoke cards, after printing costs, has raised £88 for the forum. Many thanks to everyone who bought one. Nice to have something other than a sore head, to remember the ride by.
If anyone wants one for the outrageous price of £4, PM me an address and I will post one on, and trust you to make your donation directly to the forum.
Transfer later David, when back from Tri club ride out.

Aw, Billy, that video is classic.
Who were all those strange people we were talking to at Joe G's pub?
Your photo shop skills are amazing; it was as if we were there, and somewhat under the weather.....

I concur! That's definately not me looking pretty lairy/totally blotto...it looks like someone who would decide after a good 5 or 6 hours of solid drinking that having a Makers Mark and Coke with yet another pint of Guinness would be a Good Idea. I would never indulge in such nonsense.
Awesome vid though! Nice one Mr Foot!

Wow, just received another £88 in donations from the sales of the spoke cards for this.
As the forum is not currently in need of donations, I'm going to earmark it as an addition to the charity tithe, so the money will work it's way to cycle related causes in and around London.

Gutted to have missed this - I had one drink and crashed out of exhaustion - did anyone fall off on the way home? Not a proper Guinness Ride if not

Betty, don't answer that one. It was the gravitational effect of the moon, and the mini monsoon, that sucked me into the gutter on the way to the George Orwell.
@Clara, the pictures have been viciously photo shopped to suggest that attendees were having a good time, and that excessive quantities of alcohol were consumed.

MMcCarthy was desperate to join us, but has a mountain of revision to nail, before some major exams. He is hoping to see a few of us on the GSAID when the exams are out of the way.
What a wonderful night. Not only perfect weather, superb company, and wall to wall belly laughs, but we have made a nice contribution to the forum. Full tally will follow, when I eventually get all the pound coins out of my courier bag!
Oh, and if anyone wants a spokey, i still have a few.
Pictures to follow.....
