I have a track frame with a rear hub that gives a 42mm line. Problem is, the bb and cranks don't match - Sugino 103mm bb with JIS square tapers and FSA Vero cranks which are sitting too wide because they want an ISO taper. What's my best route to fixing this? Replacing the BB or the cranks?
Ah, this is probably in the wrong forum. Mods, feel free to move it into Mechanics and Fixing Things. Although, having done some research, I'm probably going to get the Stronglight T-2000 cranks (I have both 130 and 144 BCD chainrings in the box of parts, so can swap back and forth as wanted).
New BB is cheapest - job done.
I'm sure FSA Vero are JIS? Investigate this, if it turns out I'm wrong bigtwin is right.
