You gotsta have a moisturising regime

I've never done anything and never suffered. My hands get a bit calloused but thats it. Wash often enough and you'll be fine.
I did moisturise after shaving though. Much easier when the hair grows back.

Although marketed as a chamois cream, I use it all over my face for that epic continental look.

Speak to the brothers: it don't crack, innit?
Depending on your pores and how greasy you get this is great for the cold weather:
If you have break outs easily then try this stuff.
Just be sure to wash your hands if you repeatedly re-apply it. -

Sling some moisturiser on after you've had a shave and in the mornings before you go out. Also put some on before you go to bed if your skin is that bad.
I normally put it on after a shave then a couple of times a week. Seems to do me fine.

I've only ever really used a combination of Imperial Leather, and engine grease from my Harrier Jump Jet parked in the back garden.... just seems not to be working.... perhaps I'm just getting old....

Washing (too) often is BAD. Dries the skin out. Humans shouldn't really wash every day let alone numerous times/day.
I'm one of those really unlucky people who gets cold really quick and hot really quick. In an English winter I have to have a bath 1x a week with baby oil cause my skin gets so dry (cracked bleeding knuckles). Even those super duper dry skin creams don't help me out.
Then come summer time I get so hot and sweaty that the thought of moisturiser going anywhere near my skin makes my brow glisten.
I hate it. But I guess its my body just telling me I belong somewhere Mediterranaen like (my dads Italian and I grew up in oz). Ahh, the sun damage I'm developing.Bagherra - you're beautiful and expensive cream will add nothing.

OK, so I cycle most days, at quite a pace.
I also run outside 5x a week, 5 miles + a day, week in, week out.
What should I be doing to protect my skin?
Or is it too late....
