Yesterday (Sunday) a relatively busy Thameslink train from Brighton to East Croydon. No booking but no problem with the bike. Also those new model carriages are great for moving your bike through

Might want to do London - Dover at the start of rush hour, bus I'd be getting from Glasgow would get in at 0730 but could always ride a bit of it and puck up the train outside of the city. Could easi;ly organise the return leg to be done outwith rush hour.
