Arm warmers! HTFU!

But they're so pleasant, especially the Roubaix ones. It's just a matter of time, we all know you're a closet roadie Mark.

Maybe in a few years. Also what a sweet picture^^^^^

That is indeed a sweet picture. Cheap team kit too.
Have more nice bike photos: http://ridesabike.tumblr.com/, my favourite:

Fatbirds have promised me bar delivery on Monday shortly followed by brake lever. Looking good for a next Friday outing.

I must admit that from what you'd described I was expecting something hideous. But that is a lovely bike, very classy and looks quick too. Fork really works. Would say that white tires are a mistake, but they won't be white for long so that's no problem.

Oh ye of little faith. Admittedly, it did was a leap of faith buying assorted parts in the hope they'd look something like the mockup I'd made. The white tyres are a one-off for the photo album, they'll be replaced with something a bit sturdier and blacker in the long run. Conti Gatorskin Ultras perhaps?

Yeah, I like it. It's a bit small though...

Oh, Col, any chance of bringing that saddle on Sunday? My arse can't take any more...
-
• #238
Just a thought, but I went to the Rumsey Wells last Sunday - almost deserted, lots of beer garden space for bikes (and can see them through the window) and a lovely roast. Maybe we could go for a spin then head back to the city for food? Then it's only a short roll home for us all?
-
• #239
Sounds good, means we don't have to struggle home on full bellies. Will bring the saddle.
-
• #240
Yeah sounds good. Got a route in mind, ~20 miles would be good for me as will be going to/from
Brundall for a bit of extra mileage. -
• #241
What if we headed out through Brundall to meet you then did the back roads > Salhouse Road back into Norwich? Makes it about 20 all in for everyone then.

I'm easy.

Man im jealous. That is the frame i always wanted. Made the faux pas of a white bmx before though but im a bit more rough and tumble (just check the above comments) than Colin. I did however used to run Vittoria Zaf/rubi (cannot remember which ones) in white. Looked good. Super responsive and quick but not very puncture resistant, skid proof or have a lasting colour. Nice tyres though. What size ya gone for?

With Gav's Geekhouse/Donhou and Col's Leader, we're really going to have to step up if we're to keep up with the Joneses, Mark.
I'm going to gold-coat my Fuji.

Arm warmers! HTFU!
They make perfect sense for climbing - roasting on the way up, shivering on the way down. There's nothing soft about wanting to stay warm.

Looks good colr, see you went for the Stronglight cranks-nice. What bars did you plump for in the end? Use black tape!! I just had to re-do my contacts on my Concorde as White was simply implactical. Black looks decent.
de-sticker rims, black tyres. If it were me I'm always tempted by matching stem, seatpost and cranks etc. but hey it looks pretty dope.
Picking up the GT frame tomorrow. all I haz is wheels...so far.
If any one wants a 58cm Dolan Precursa, Alpina carbon forks, DA headset all painted a lovely stealthy black, and for the princely sum of 200notes let me know!

Tyres are Rubino Pro 3s in 700x23, real fuckers to get on so I'm dreading punctures. I don't skid though, so that should give them a bit more life. Bars will be Cinelli Lolas in white with black tape. I'm leaving the stickers as they are for now - between the rims, frame and stem there's a few spots of red that set it off nicely.
White or silver stem was a big decision, Photoshop and I decided on white in the end though.

Did you guys do the pub lunch run yesterday?
