I use a chilly’s bottle, they’re pretty much bomb proof and they fit in a bottle cage. I was given a few a while ago (just had a count up and there are 8 in the cupboard and we’ve not bought any of them :D ) so win win.
I prefer fenders to be set for safety, a smaller ingress helps to ensure that whatever gets in gets ejected.
I'm not suggesting it should be 1mm from the tyre, just needs the radius sorting, or maybe just tweeked at the fork crown, it's not a difficult job, just a little attention to detail is all I'm asking.
I got a stone caught this week. Very loud bang, stone ejected, stays bent, guard bent and the stay pulled itself free from the dropout mount (thank god!) A good time was had by all. Difficult to photograph but here's a rough before and after.
Hints of functional bike content to come. These arrived by post today.
I have a flask that's about 500ml I think, stainless steel on the outside, not glass inside. Picked it up in tk maxx homeware section years ago and it's been flung around pretty thoroughly since and still going strong. It's about the length of a 750mm bidon but smaller diameter. Fits in a carradice nae bother.
Check out yeti or mizu
I like my kinto travel tumbler.
It's half a litre, fits a bottle cage and you can drink from it directly.
Opinions on the Donhou Utility?
That looks cool. I didn't realize they moved to Greece.
Defo think the town bike from August cycles is nicer!
I do like Donhou bar/stem set up.
I have to imagine that is much more expensive! lovely though..
Nope. We just did a small batch run. £1350 for framekit with stem and rack in one-colour paint and in a fully custom size.
And cheers Josh. Appreciate it.
very interesting, will have a bit more detailed look!

Mine. Mudguards and a basket away from full-functional.
Lovely photo. What's the frame?
Kona Rove DL I think
@kjlem nailed it. Kona Rove DL.
I enjoy the introduction of the triple.
