Nice conversion but I always wonder about bar end shifters on north road type handlebars vis knee interference.
Doesn't seem very functional with just one fender, and at that having a larger gap at the ingress vs egress.
This is exceptional
So much knobble - what tyres?
Looks homemade I reckon.
Michelin Wildgripper methinks
@BillyPilgrim is offering a free 1" (?) threaded disc fork for 26" if anyone fancies it for a retrofunctional MTB
that orange diamond back frameset is lovely! any idea what model / year it is?
New wheels, new bars, new cranks, less clutter around the brakes, and put the hose through the cable loops.
Still needs a new front guard, big flap and rack + wald 1392
90's GT Zaskar converted into a 700c 2 speed roadster. And my Masi Cx commuter.
Hah, my friend have the same bike, but with a Soma low trail fork.
I bet it helped with some toe overlap. That’s really my only complaint about the Masi.
More pics of that Zaskar please!
Its a blast to ride.
Looks bloody fantastic!
It was a super fun project too. Mostly built with parts i already had laying around.
Awesome Masi. Would love to see more pics. I think metal guards would fit this perfectly.
