I'd planned to dump my bag in the lockers at the hub, but it looks like their september hours see them closing at 7 (which is ridiculous). Anyone have any alternative bagdump suggestions?

+andyp – 10ish from Catford. Out through Sidcup then Eynsford, Bower Lane, Knatts Valley then probably back along and up Star and then who knows. Can't remember how far apart things are that way so not sure how many miles it is up to that bit. Tired of heading out through Layhams/Cudham so slightly different angle of attack.

@dimi3 If Tom doesn't destroy me (likely) then maybe I'll do both (unlikely).

Am tempted, but ought to ride the cross bike tomorrow so any niggles are resolved before I race at the weekend.

Do it on the cross bike? If the surface at the top of Bower lane is anything like it was last time I was that way you'll be better equipped than us ;)

Can't. Only wheels I have are Iron Cross rims which take a maximum psi of 40 or so. I'd be about 10 miles an hour slower than you on the flat.

I didn't know that. Does it fill up with mamils and dentists after 7? Dodging deers in the dark would not be ideal.
