    It is wrong that it made me happier when I read it correctly?

  • Am starting to feel the affects of low calories towards the end of the day though.

    Have you thought about changing your eating times a bit to help with this?

    I tend to have a snack when I get on the train, or when I wake up, then a protein shake when I get to my desk, lunch, a snack late afternoon, another one before training then dinner, it does mean that I never really get that full feeling from a big meal but it means my energy levels are a bit more constant than just 3 bigger meals and so I don't get halfway on my bike ride home and end up slowing down to 5mph because I just don't have the energy to keep going!

  • I generally have breakfast before I leave to cycle to work, then a banana around 10.30, sandwich at 12, fruit around 2 then keep full on water or tea until 5-6 (whenever I finish work) usually around this time I'm feeling the effects of low calories.

    Cycle home is then sometimes hard but then run or working out once I'm home is generally OK.

  • ^have more fruit/bigger lunch? As far as I know our bodies run on glucose, so surely more fruit/'good' carbs (non-gluten non-processed ones brown rice, potatoes, etc) is a good thing??

  • I was a near unheard of 80kg before the weekend.

    I'm going to make an effort to maintain this for cycling and running. Its cost me though. eg. My bench press max has dropped 20kg.

    Thing is I like to scrape the half melted stuff from the edge with my spoon. So when eating one of the 'core' flavours I end up with just a lump of toffee.

    Its a hard life.....

    Handful of nuts or some fruit? I love raw carrots, so I peel a few, stick them in a box and bring them to the office, or just have one out the fridge, nice with (low calorie if you want) greek yoghurt.
