Are these sealed or loose bearing?
-

I am pretty sure they are sealed. They have the 'buff metal screw-in end cap' described on the link below.

The loose ones have plastic end caps, which mine do not. -

Looking at the loose ball on the guesset link you've posted, it says they have the metal screw cap also?
Unfortunately, I've just realised they don't look like they'll take my JOL straps.

Hmmm, point taken - the link is a little confusing for the loose ball page - in the upper description it says the caps are plastic, and further down it says they're metal.
Is there any way I can tell whether they are sealed or loose by looking at them? -

Shake them.
loose = rattle

Shaking them produces no noise at all :-)
I'm thinking they must be sealed. -

in that case, £15 = win IMO :)
Would of gone for them if it weren't for the JOL straps issue.

Thanks Casasteve :-)
I think the price is fair - the pedals really are in good condition, they just look a bit banged up on one side because of where I fell off... -

what straps/clips can you use with these?
-
• #11
no straps will fit thru the holes

You could probably retro fit some power grips. Done something similar on some different flat pedals.

I've attached a couple more photos in case this helps with the ongoing strap debate...
Personally I have no idea what type of straps would fit, sorry I can't be more helpful...

Hello!
Up for grabs are my white Gusset Slim Jims.
These are in good condition - the bearings are smooth, and there is no mechanical damage to the pedals at all. These were only bought last December and have not had much use.
Aesthetically they look ok, but they do NOT look new. There are some scuff marks, and they are a bit grubby. Also, some paint has been scraped off on the outer side of the left hand pedal from where I fell off my bike - the 3rd picture should show this.
I'm asking £15 which includes postage - If people think this is too much I am open to offers :-)
