Looking to buy another brompton before 28th June so my neighbour can go for a cycle with me and also to have a spare for when working so I if something goes wrong I can ignore it for a day or two and ride the other. Needs to be black edition with newer style brakes and bits, 6 speed.
I’m about to convert my Brompton from 1 speed to 3, do I need a different chain tensioner? Thanks in advance
you know what to do ;)
Does the dork disc stay in place for the 3 speed conversion?
Although I've cut most of my dork disc away (on my 2 speed) leaving just the centre, if I remove it completely, the sprockets rattle.
on all of the gearing options stock, the dork disc is fitted.
Did email you as plan b but going to see what neighbour says first as she wants to cycle with me but I kinda would rather just drink gin and go for a short walk instead.
Works out at 820 if you use the code POP20 - seems quite a good deal?
Anyone know when the gumwall kojak will be coming back in stock?
Or even when you know when the schwalbe one tyres.
trying to get hold of them direct, there was a block from them because brompton had OEM, but hopefully that is changing
The Schwalbe Ones are brilliant if you can get them. Much prefer to my previous kojaks
Like at Condor?
Might be delivering a bike to a chap in london..
Spotted a disc braked belt drive with brass mudguards on the tube earlier.
If you have any 2nd hand bromptons that look good I'd be tempted.
M6l in orange? £650
I'll take that off your hands. Might take me a week or two to come and see you.
I'll not be taking it off your hands.
Sorry if this has messed you around.
It’s not a new one, used.
Message me, it’s private not sjs sale. Free Uk shipping.
Here's the handlebar update pics as requested. I have some "before" but I'm sure you all know what an M6L looks like on stock bars.
Black but a 3 speed any good to you?
What part of the world is that, please?
Mine? That's the Holes Bay cycleway/footpath just to the north of Poole. The main RNLI HQ is top left in the first pic. The cycleway/footpath runs on into Upton Country Park and is a regular trip for me. Absolutely beautiful at sunset.
Not so bad in broad daylight either.
