Depends on where you go for your MOT ;p

Or, you can swap to E85 and it will pass emissions with no cat.

The car cost me £2,000, although I had to go to Aberdeen to get it.

I've spent probably twice that in maintenance since, and will spend the same again on engine/turbo/exhaust/tune this year.

Ultimately it will be a large estate car with heated seats, great stereo etc, that has a rock solid and reliable 350bhp/500 foot pounds of torque, and can get Hippy and myself to a cycling holiday in Trieste in comfort at pace.

If I can sort the brakes out!

I'll try a couple of "big" stops tomorrow and see what happens.

Sounds a great project I wish I had the space and so extra cash for a project, just had my car up and did an oil change. If you need oil check out opie oils on the net.

no, but i did notice that your cat is so huge he makes the floor boards creak!

Tracking a Volvo estate is uber cool. Nice one. Let me know when you do so I can come re-live the BTCC glory days.

Also I highly recommend upgrading to coilovers. Best thing I ever did to my car.

Just pop the pads out and take a look at them. Maybe rub a file over them a few times to clean off any little bit that may be stuck in the pad.

See if that gets rid of it.
