I only brought this up as in the old days using 'creator' on the atari I would write a one bar drum pattern, then really get into it but for some reason it would stop after 50 mins. Use of drugs that heightened my enjoyment of those 50 mins was purely circumstantial!

Shame I just sold my iMic (griffin) you can connect your turntable to a Mac or PC and record it via Audacity (sp) or Vinyl Vinyl which I used to copy some tapes. I think you could use GD as well.

Never use one of those USB turntable thingys - they are gash!

If you have a turntable and mixer already just get a £70 soundcard. if you haven't got a mixer get a pre-amp.

Regarding garageband - isn't the file size limit 700MB on all recordings?
