I found the mural...but it's not that place :-/
Maybe a better pic of the window
To be honest, the clue sent me in the wrong direction as to what sort of place it is. I found it through oat and a stab at what style of building it is.
In the time honoured tradition I'll say I will swing by there tomorrow. And then won't.
Ah yes, got it.
245 St John St.
Finsbury Library & Islington Local History centre
My mate Sholto is trying to sell an urban flat a stone’s throw from here
Justice is balmy.
Bricks? You might have to explain.
I got it from the curve of the road in @aglet's pic
The colours on right hand side are the colours of Islington council, which meant it was some form of municipal building in Islington which narrows it down considerably. With the 'research' clue, you could take a punt on it being a library or similar, and it comes up.
I think the local history centre in the library houses the Walter Sickert Family Collection; PDF: From Munich to Highbury
old, limeburner lane
new; house within a house
Good clue. Shame it's not in London.

Old Tag. House in House, Tresillian Crescent, SE4.
More on it here.
New tag. Abused by motor vehicles, especially HGVs. Should go quick.
This is a great tag, really like it.
And the house within a house too.
I can't get it.
Old: Dryden Doodwin's Breathe:2022, St Mildred's Rd, South Circular
Combining over 1,000 drawings of six local activists fighting for breath, Breathe:2022 by Dryden Goodwin will appear outdoors on walls and bridges across Lewisham in 2022.
Relating to the death of Ella Adoo-Kissi-Debrah and the growing battle for climate justice, it connects this global health emergency to the daily lives of local Lewisham residents and activists.
New: clue to follow if needed
Remember what we talked about in the support group? Clues are always needed.
Knew Amey’s but couldn’t find the road. Shame. This would have been a good follow up.
Clue: A rival to the house of Capulet, but not in Bloomsbury
