  • Just thought i'd give the heads up about plod who were giving out tickets this morning.

Basically as you come into the park there is about 10 metres of pavement after a pedestrian/cyclist crossing to a number of gates. There were plod at both giving out tickets as people tried to get in. So heads up if you go that way! I'm also pretty sure there was a couple stopping cyclists going under Marble arch itself, but can't be sure because i was forced round by a kindly white van man.

  • There were loads of pigs on bikes up bayswater road this morning as well. Probably part of the same crack down. One tried to chase me up the road for jumping a light (I didnt even jump it) I didn't look back for a while and when I did he was miles behind.

  • Nice to see they are usefully employed.
    Fucking useless bastards

  • Isn't that the bit in Hyde park where its a cycle crossing, then a bit of pavement before the park (which I think is ok to ride in). That's really pathetic.

  • This sounds like a bit of a desire line issue.

  • Well someone has got to stop the lycra louts nearly killing people. I view them as modern day super heros.

  • Da fuck?!
Getting across that is bad enough, and ive been stopped going through the bus stand off road by the motopopo.
    Gawd

  • Thought you could ride through marble arch.

Thats the one yeah, from what i saw one guy was stopped coming out of the park.i.e. going the 10 metres of non cycling lane. And the other lass has come off the cycle crossing and tried to go into the park.

I wouldn't be too surprised to see em down by hyde park corner on my way home.

    +1
They aren't there at 7am. lazy cunts
Why aren't they out there stopping this cycle terrorists mowing down elderly ladies and maiming children and kittens, leaving them for death in their self obsessed act of vanity!

  • A crime, a crime solved a stats win!!!

  • do you also suffer from flat feet?

  • do you also suffer from flat feet?

'ello 'ello 'ello what do we have here?

  • The other day a ped walked out in front of me, without looking (off a roundabout ... seven dials) whilst readin a FUCKING E-BOOK. Unbefuckingliveable. An EBOOK! I wish to god I'd knocked it out of his hands, and broke it into bits on the damp cold cobbled pavement.

Think you can. But there's a cycle crossing accross the road, which ends on a pavement on which you can't ride which then (a couple of metres later) goes into Hyde Park where you can again.

Shame it wasn't an iPad, I hear those things are so cool, it would have noticed via it's GPS that you were coming, and told the numpty exactly where to step to avoid you...

  • It would have noticed via gps and the accelerometers that it was going to hit the ground so it can tell you it's about to smash into a million pieces....before it smashes into a million pieces.

    PoS

You can probably set it to automatically update your Twitter:
"NoddyPedestrian is about to fall really hard onto his iPad. ouch!
updated less than 20 seconds ago from Twitter for iPad"

  • Are people confusing Wellington Arch with Marble Arch?

I know that I always get it wrong.

I expect them to be at Wellington Arch tonight, but they were definitely at Marble Arch this morning.

Wellington Arch is fine for cycling, but its the crossing and no entry signs i'm expecting them to stalk, some git keeps closing the gate there not realising that if all the cyclists took the official route it would be one massive clusterfuck sprawled under a bus.

  • And again this morning

  • i go through there at about 6:30 every morning and always cross that bit of non cycle lane, then over the pavement and hop down on to the road... funnily enough they were not there at that time this morning.

the cycle lane ends with a give way type thing, then there is a small broken sign on the floor which does have a bike with a line though it, but i only saw that cos i was actively looking for it... what a load of shit.

I had words this morning, they will be waiting for you tomorrow. ;)

that was me reading Crime and Punishment

  • Fuck me, lower thames street/north side of southwark bridge, about 8.30 this morning, must have been about 15 piggies on mtbs spread around the junction...

thought that there was a bomb scare or something, but nope, just trying to catchy rljers....!

  • I might not bother getting off tomorrow, and just ride round em, and blowing raspberries.
