I like the bandana
Recently put a new wheelset on this Barry Hoban, changed from 27" to 700C. The axles I converted from QR to nutted - it needed a custom bearing support bush to be turned for the rear axle. Fitted the stainless mudguards today after the second set of plastic ones self-destructed. Oh, and I wore through the Charge saddle so re-covered it with an offcut of fake suede. Ready for another few years of faithful service!
How long have you had this now? I remember you having it in Birmingham.
haha, maybe 9 years?
Here it is in 'paper boy' set-up. You could just make out the frame decals then, they're long gone now
This is one of the best I've seen on here. Colours, proportions, everything is just spot on
Also a Saab Planet...
What does the left shifter?cannot spot an FD
Nothing at the moment. I never used it so the front derailleur turned to rust... 7 on the back (or now 9) is plenty for me.
That’s the bad boy. Hrumph, doesn’t look like a 20” though. Had my hopes up there for a minute!
Spotted this rat a moment ago. Totally IDGAF, love it.
Rotor, tabs, no caliper. Lol
I have this for sale in the classifieds if anyone is interested:
Faking it with a coaster brake.
The most I've lusted after a bike in a long, long time!
Love these Kona frames
What's the model?
Integrated rack/bar combo on the Kona is interesting. Anyone know anything about it? Feel like it might be prone to slipping though, you'd need a good stem and bolts that can take decent torque
Quite a few makers out there, google rack/handlebar combo :)
I'll bet plebe knowledge of that kind of frame makes Sacha Speedvagen nervous.
Came across this on Instagram discover . 2x1 https://www.instagram.com/p/Bk6BG74gkRG/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=1j9zdiid37mnt
