  • Was a great introduction for me to CS. Even if most of it was spent looking at J's arse. Pretty pleased by pulling it back by a minute to you after droping me 5-7km from finish though.

    Cheers bud.

PS Good to meet you Hippy, see you next time :)

  • How is the route? Is looks like a nice ride...busted knee procluded me from riding otherwise Benjam, you could have had the wonderful opportunity for looking at my arse for 36% of the ride.

  • I don't think anyone's 100% atm dom, particularly myself.

Route was lovely unless you hate a lot of flat with one steep and two gradual climbs. There were a few bumpy sections though but it was well marked for hazards/caution so not a problem.

  • reg just opened for this year

  • Thanks for that heads up .........just entered.......training training, miles miles.......

  • Results from this year's are up..

  • Just signed up for long route this year.

My gear cable snapped last year and I ended up doing the last 60% of it in my biggest gear. Still really enjoyed it. All the climbs are at the beginning luckily.

  • I might lose my audax virginity instead this year.

  • Long ride out just to get to the start line.
What time do people hit the road?

  • I was by myself, so thought I may as well go for it. The weather was almost perfect, and it was a lovely route. I live in Surrey, but normally just stick to the hills, so was great to see what else there is to ride.

  • i got round in 5 hrs and 31 with a half hour stop at the pub.

was a super day out in the sunshine.

and pete to smash that that quick is really good, i was hanging the last 10 miles.

  • Yep,did the long route in 5 hours sumfing, top day in the country,'Englands Green and Pleasant Land'........didn't seem as hard as previous years.........
