Tandems of the forum

After waiting 3 weeks for the Shiply courier to pick up my Lee Cooper, i finally have it in my kitchen!

It’s lighter than I was expecting (531 designer select tubes). Someone has done quite a neat job on modifying the stoker cranks. I’ll be keeping those, as the Thorn equivalent is £80 ! Everything else is pretty much knackered and set to be binned.

Repaint coming, and I’m gathering some modest parts

I have the circe Helios and my daughter and I love it, as do any friends who get on the back too. Great tandem, would recommend for sure

Me and the Mrs took a lovely 5 day tour in Normandy last Sept. The weather didn't play ball but we had a real giggle.
Despite its size, we had no issues with the loaded Orbit on the ferry to Cherbourg and back. Highly recommended trip, plenty of history and quiet roads/cycle routes.
