Utter madman. Been binging this channel. The hill climb with the Busa was something else. Guy knows his bikes.

I've been slowly recommissioning a Honda Dominator I bought off the line late summer last year.

I had tried to recover the torn saddle myself, no bueno so went to a trimmer where things got out of hand after I had watched some pit footage of the Sand Raiders event.

The nearest I'll get to Dakar is Dundee but it's all about the look isn't it.

Some Fake Alan Cantara makes it look the business. I also bought another recovered seat in the meantime so thats fine.

I also purchased a 23l Acerbis tank, eye watering amount to buy then got reamed by HM customs and Parcelforce for good measure. I can make it to Dundee and back now..but research suggests the repro decals I purchased at some cost from Latvia there's a pattern here,would lift due to vapour escaping through the permeable plastic. Great!

This meant I had to hand punch that section, I wonder how long they'll last.

If you seal the tank you might get more life from the stickers, otherwise the petrol vapour will kill the stickers in short order.
