There may be trouble ahead
But while there's music and moonlight and love and romance
Let's face the music and danceBefore the fiddlers have fled
Before they ask us to pay the bill and while we still have the chance
Let's face the music and danceSoon we'll be without the moon, humming a different tune and then
There may be teardrops to shed
So while there's moonlight and music and love and romance
Let's face the music and dance -

Yesterday morning on the way to work I got taken out by a flatbed at Camberwell Junction, which skipped the filter.
I flew over the bars and ate some serious asphalt, cunt drove off......is anyone selling a chrome H+ Son?

Ouch, were you hurt (sounds like it)?
Have you reported the hit-and-run to police? Always report, there's a high level of under-reporting and the police need data to take action.
Can you say more about what happened? Which filter do you mean?

Cheers for the concern. No, I haven't reported it yet but plan to.
It was at 07.35 at the main Camberwell junction, I was coming from Walworth Rd / Camberwell Rd, heading towards Denmark Hill. The lights were green, had committed to crossing (took the middle of the road) and was in a sprint down on my drops. Halfway across the junction I heard a van rev and looked left (road from New Cross, Peckham etc...) to see a white Ford flatbed accelerating so put down some power and swerved further right.
They carried on and hit the back of my wheel, spinning my bike out from underneath me, out of my clips and over the bars. I hit my legs on my drops, went over the front of my bike, landed on my right shoulder and bounced / span two or three times along the ground before coming to a stop. The van braked and then carried on again heading towards Oval without even stopping. A few people helped me up and out of the street but no one caught the registration.
I am ok, bit shaken up. Have messed up my right arm and shoulder again from a previous injury, a bit of road rash on my right leg and hand, and have nicely bruised both of my hips from where I rolled. My back wheel is a complete write off though...
Hopefully they will be able to catch this person on CCTV or something and stop this happening again!

Should be plenty of CCTV round there. Keep chasing until you catch the c*nt.

As you well know, you don't really have control over how other people drive...
