Longandwinding and I stopped off last night on our way to a gig. He was well and surrounded by gifts books and food and well looked after. It was very good to see him and very impressed that we visitors 12 & 13 of the day. Everyone here rocks.
Size small tshirts from legendary USA bike shops are on our list Paul. We'll see you in the New Year.

Paul is doing well, had a good nights rest on his new mattress. Dylan thanks for the creams, they have really helped.
Fresh blood (literally) has given him added strength (even feistiness).
Who is planning on popping in today and making sure he is still alive and kicking? Give him a punch/slobbery kiss from me.
He was looking good when we all popped in to see him yeaterday, there were around 7 or 8 of us around 3ish, well until the moaning git next to him started shouting and complaining with senile gibberish and trying to grab fiddy through the curtain, think life would be much easier for Paul if that guy was moved down the end. But full of beans all the same, hopefully i will be popping in on christmas day with Cake for an hour or two, does anybody plan to do this?

I'll be in later once I've done some Xmas shopping.
I'm toying with the idea of kitting his bed out in fairy lights.
Whatcha reckon?
Only if they are limited edition pinarello and made of lightweight carbon fibre. The man may be missing half his insides, but he still has principles.

Am planning to visit this afternoon if anyone would like to join me (translation: if anyone who knows the way would like to save me from looking at a map I'd love to hear about it).
Will be leaving from London's famous Dalston at about 3.30 - 4pm, weather dependent.

An update: Paul is very frail at the moment. Please don't go to the hospital without clearing it first with dancing james, Object or Pigfarmer. His situation has changed, breathing is now difficult, and it would be a great strain to take visitors at the moment. A couple of people are there with him, but that's about all that can be managed.

recovering from expending this energy is going to take a lot out of him, lucky the visitors will drop off over christmas, give the old sod a good rest. he has the mental strength you could wish for if you could picture it. he'll be back on it tomorrow after rest.
Come on big man!Speaking of which - I'm in over christmas OR boxing day - Paul & i were mulling over a christmas treat - small walk (wheel chair), lunch or brandy out someplace local... depends on how he feels. anyone else about to join us pm me and i'll keep you in the loop.

Paul had a very very bad day yesterday, though has improved a little and stabilised again but he is still very very frail.
Please call Object, Pigfarmer or myself if you are considering visiting.
Paul generally wakes up for about 1 minute in 30.
There is a chance that he is faking it all, as he has been using the opportunity to grab kisses from all the prettiest nurses.
