I'm very sorry to hear that.
I'm going to the fracture clinic myself this afternoon and I'm still in quite lot of pain after more than a week from my incident, so I really feel for RP.
Use ice packs for 20mins every few hours - it makes a hell lot of difference! -

GWS but make sure there is no soft tissue damage as that can cause longer time to heal.

RP was downed last night by a 4x4 on Westminster Bridge. After several hours in A&E the prognosis was OK, badly bruised knees, hip and wrist. That was a lot better than the original potential broken leg and wrist.
RP was travelling south on Westminster bridge last night when she was knocked down by a 4x4. As she reached the south-side of the bridge there was a queue of traffic near the lights. RP was riding down the bus lane when it appears that another driver flashed the offending driver to allow him to move left into the end of the bus lane near the light. The 4x4 then made his move without proper observation to move straight across RP's path. Even under heavy breaking she couldn't avoid the collision and hit the front of the side of the vehicle. RP and the bike cart wheeled through the air to then impact on the pavement. NOTE: Head saved by wearing a helmet!
Heal fast Ray.
