Always banana bread, but now I'm wondering if you can make vegan banana malt loaf. And now I want to eat some vegan banana malt loaf.

I don’t know any vegan books on those topics but plenty out there on how farms work. You can use a vegan perspective to read between some of the blurred lines maybe.
Live export is something I would look into if your interested in our exporting of animals and history of it is quite interesting

Soreen is vegan these days (sure it used to make milk in) so vegan malt loaf is a go!

I didn't know that! Just blind eyed it. Good news!

Are all the soreens vegan these days? Good news. I remember a coupla years ago it was just the banana one that was.

Quick reminder that Mark Samworth, one part of Samworth Bros, who own Soreen, donated over half a million to the Tory party in the last 10 years.

This BBC vegan banana bread recipe is good, I usually chuck in some walnuts and/or dark chocolate chunks. I sometimes add a bit of oat milk if it comes out a bit dry, depends on the state of the bananas. Bonus points for not having to read someone's unabridged autobiography to get to the recipe.

This was posted in another thread somewhere on here:
It filters out the life stories, childhood memories and boring anecdotes found on most blog/recipe sites giving you just the recipe.

Hmm. I don’t know of any book specifically investigating the UK, but the system is universally shit, and most research/books focus on the US because they’ve let the free market form their system, so theirs is the worst.
Dr Richard Oppenlander goes into depth with sustainability and food choices. His books are very well researched.

I haven't read 'Not on the Label' by Felicity Lawrence and therefore can't recommend it, but judging from her articles her writing seems good. Here's a short review of it:
Don't know if that's what you're looking for, but it may be a possibility.

Not sure about all of the varieties but I was out with a vegan mate and his kids for a picnic the other day and he had some of the "normal variety in small bars" so I've only checked those.
Hold the front page. Just checked for standard Soreen
vegan friendly

Well, that is ... disappointing.

Tasty fucking pork pie, even got the weird jelly most of them are missing and the pastry is dead hard but super tasty and crunchy. Was from the deli at 8th day next to the impressive scotch eggs so I'm guessing made the the same person.

Look at the top of that fucker, I want to go get another. First time I've managed a vegan one without extra sauce or pickle or similar.
