I have one of these paired with an Edelux II and SP Dynamo, they're very good.

its a rear mudguard wire channel. You can't find it anywhere else because it's practical.

Can you show me how rear light connects to front light? Thanks

Seems to be a single spade connector in a recessed hole under the light. The other terminal seems to be connected to the mounting bolt using a ring connector.

Alright. Thank you. I am yet to this on mine. I have same lights.

cheers, that's helpful!

Does anyone have any thoughts on if this is a reasonable deal:
The seller hasn’t responded to questions about how much use it’s had and the pics of the rims look a little worn.
I’m looking to ty out a dynamo set up for commuting ...

Undecided between a SON and SP and would probably go for the latter if I could find one in 28h and Centrelock - any thoughts on whether the extra cash for a son is a waste, or where I can find a 28h sp in Centrelock?!

It's a long game thing, but SON will basically repair anything for 60 quid.
That said, I have a SON hub that's never been built, and an SP that I use all the time just coz I had it first

I read conflicting things about whether the sl-9 is designed for 700c wheels so was nervous - although otherwise, looks good

Repairability is helpful but I do wonder how likely I am to need that given how many miles these things can do... One to mull over though.
Alternatively, sell me the SON if it's disc ready and everyone's a winner...?

IIRC it's 6 bolt, 12mm and 24 hole so probably no good for you, but I will build it up eventually anyway. The SP is good enough that I haven't felt pushed to do it, and it's done a couple of years on a croix de fer that gets ridden to death, so i do rate them

That doesn't sound like what I need but worth asking!
I'll keep on searching for the right SP I reckon...

will a B + M Secula plus tail light play nice with an SP hub and SON Edelux II?

Without explaining the intricate details, I want to create a simple break in my wire run, from my Edelux II to my Son rear light. The Son offerings, whilst great, all want to be soldered and I don't have a soldering iron/do not want a soldering iron. So I got me some of these: https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/lighting-spares/supernova-qr-gold-connector-set-with-integrated-shrink-wrap/
I've cut speaker wiring before and stuff and also have set up B+M lights before, so I was all confident and stupidly didn't read the manual. Anyway. When the rear light is connected, it short circuits the whole thing and the front light doesn't work. I now know why because I read the manual. I tried to bodge it with a single connector at coming from the front light and going to the rear light. This obviously didn't work.
After reading the manual (duh) the actual solution means that there'll be two connectors, as in the photo attached. I do not want this. I want a single connection, like a Dyna-Snap. I was trying to avoid ordering something from the U.S., but should I just bite the bullet and order the Dyna-Snap? Open to any other clever ideas. @Dammit did you ever order these?

Yeah, I've got a bag of them somewhere - they were surprisingly large IIRC.
Clever, mind.
I'll try to find them and will post up some details.

Would also be interested in some dyna snaps

I'm new to the world of dynamo lighting but I have just landed a second hand set of the hunt wheels with a SON hub for a good price so I'm diving in. First question does anyone use the SON coaxial adapter on their hub to essentially convert the spade connectors to their coaxial connector? I see a lot of reviews that talk about how tricky the soldering is and the last time I soldered anything was back in secondary school!
