25th birthday ride 26th april 2019
same place same time as it always has been
I'm hearing Extinction Rebellion are doing some critical mass type event this afternoon. Meeting at 14:00 on Waterloo Bridge.
Bump, this evening
it's the big day - under waterloo bridge by the BFI/NFT 6.30pm
So, who else is here?
Wish I was. What an evening for it.
Should at least still be warm for the return ride home.
The highlight was Tower Bridge closing to vehicles just as we arrived,
to allow a tall-masted boat to pass downstream.
Plenty of bike-trailer sound systems.
Felt odd approaching Tower of London from the east being serenaded by Steel Dan's 'FM'.
Time ticked on, so I set off along the Embankment to warm up for the cycle home.
Met up with CM again at Buck House!
Late night snack, (felafel/ayran), at Damas Gate on Uxb Road and home by 23.30.
Would CM again.
Extinction Rebellion Emergency Critical Mass
Anybody else here tonight?
Missed last month, haven’t been in ages. Might rock up tomorrow.
Oh deary me the weather though
50/50 - looks like the showers coming are patchy, and should hopefully blow through if they do hit.
Bah. I went home a drank deeply of a nice Burning Sky.
Lovely ride on Friday, never disappoints.
XR CM tomorrow 5:30/6pm @ Serpentine
Just noticed that this month's CM is on the 31st. I think I'll go
Should be interesting. All the pro Brexit clowns will be in town for their big party.
Oh, penny drops. Yeah I think I might go too.
Does it still kick off around half six?
but for a 7 depart
