Wanted: Threaded Headset - SR, NR, CK

Hey,

Looking to get a good condition headset. 1 inch threaded.

Anyone got either a Super Record, Nuovo Record or Chris King one to sell?

Longish shot... but forumengers usually come up trumps!

Bumping this cos I'm sure kam would appreciate it, and to ask:

Is there such thing as a Chris King 1" threaded? Need to decide on a headtube, I really want a quill just cos I like them but I know I should go unthreaded really. I just think Aheads are fugly.

yes there is.....make sure you buy 2nd Nut model not the grip nut..........also make sure you do not under any cirmustances ream and face your headtube/crown race seat, whack it in with the piece of wood and hammer and then complain its binding.....

and aheads are great:-)

CK threaded headsets are a great bit of kit. Know someone who has had theirs' for 10 years and 3 frames. Make sure your headtube is faced and they will last for a very, very long time.

You can get them in any of the colourways CK offer.

Keep documentation of having your headtube faced, because CK will ask for it if it comes to a warranty issue.

Hey Skully, cheers for the bumparoo!

I snagged a lovely Campy Pista HS from the ever generous retro_di_Corsa.

Kind of agree about Ahead being fugly, the CK 2 nut looks good but is bloody expensive and a pain to find.
