tour de ville? or do BLB employees not shop in other stores?

they only have a rossin stem - which is V long. Or a pair of rings, but they are on a Rossin and I'd have to buy the whole bike to get 'em, which is a bit OTT even for me.

Did you ever think of having your own bike parts patographed at a jewelry or sports trophies shop.
I used to do it there is the past with stems. They can do wonderful jobs, ready in a few days and I think lots cheaper than Ebay. Some do very fine and undeep carving, others do letters like we're used to from most bike parts.
The artwork cannot be too difficult.
Don't know if they can do all letter types and "freehand" things or if they have to works from templates. I think it's worth asking. -

It has to be original. It just wouldn't be right otherwise. But I'll bear that in mind for future projects!

Good use of "Shizzle" BTW.

I understand.
But even the original parts (Rossin, Campan, Cinelli) were not panto'ed by these companies. They had small "sub-contractors" who did it for them. So, basically it would be any different if you had it done somewhere locally. Just make sure that they can/will do it the way you want (font, artwork)
Good luck!Other tips:
Try Finland. It seems that there are a lot of Rossins over there.
Try to find Mr Domenico Garbelli, former owner and "Mr Rossin" for years.
Or contact the current Rossin owner:
*Hello to everybody.

Knowledge! ;)
I'm here in Finland and it's true that a lot of both road and track Rossins were imported here between mid-1980s and early 1990s for some reason, some of which were in fact sold branded as Finnish 'Tunturi'-bikes. However, most of the Rossins here apparently tended to be bit lower end, or possibly not old enough, so there's hardly any Rossin pantographed components around, unfortunately.
We also got quite many same period road and track Olmos and Sannino pursuit frames floating around here for the same reason.

I'm taking my time with this build, trying to get it right, but I'm struggaling to find the Rossin Pantoed stuff I want on the bike. I've got a choice of stems at my disposal, but I really want rings and a seatpost. Ideally late 80s early 90s, but I'll consider earlier stuff.
Does anyone have anything like that lying around?
Will pay good money if its the real deal and in good - perfect (NOS) condition.
