Is this a Real pair of Shamals?

Posted on
  • So I was just looking around ebay when I stumbled on these with a minute to go. Got carried away and bid, not expecting to win. Well i did. A pair of road Shamals. Nice.

Then I noticed the decals. They are a bit funny. Not the norm. They seem familiar but I'm not sure from where.

Can any one confirm or deny if this is a real set of shamals, and if so why it has different decals (early perhaps?). My campag knowledge isn't as good as I'd like. Link to auction:

    Please reply if you know.
Guesses aren't going to be very helpful.

    Thanks in advance,

    Harry

  • Chinese fakes worth about £20

  • I believe these are the earlier version of the shamal. The more common, later graphic first appeared c1996. Same rims, just different stickers.

  • Amazing.
    I love you guys :)

  • apart from diable that is.
