I've just got an email from the Bike Whisperer saying that one has arrived even though Paligap said they don't have any! So, it's not so urgent now but I would like to see if it works so I'll keep you in mind. I'll let VB know about your name change - which 's' do you want removed? :)
Ok, no problem. It would be a quick job, no problem.
The 's' after the 't'. It's not a biggie though, so don't worry about it. :-)

If I get an Evans Cycles price match code online, can I use that code in store or do I need to click & collect it?
I need to pick it up tomorrow.
It's an Abus d-lock, so very likely to be an in stock item.
Just print out a print screen showing the price ( on the competitors site) and hand it in over the counter, where they will check it.

If you get a nice store assistant, they'll print it out for you... Chances of that happening? Slim to none...

Shifters, mechs and cassettes must be the same make at least.
I use a shimano cassette and have used a shimano fd with sram shifters + rd

Cheap basic phone.... no interwebs.

Ok. I thought that the amount of cable SRAM shifters pulled was diffeernt to Shimano? I stand corrected.
Front fd you could probably get away with for sure.

I've never really used Microsoft Access much, but I have a .mdb file created in Access that I need to look at reasonably urgently. Is there any freely downloadable equivalent that will let me open it (preferably for mac but can do windows too).
I believe the database within has been nicely formatted for ease of use so it would be nice if I could see that rather than directly accessing all the tables.

I am at work until 6 I think, if you are able to show up anytime before that I can have this printed out for you. Pm me with the link you need printed out and I will prepare stuff. I am based in Kings Cross

You can connect to an MS mdb using OpenOffice Base, IIRC.
Would need to be on windows though.

Yup, front is the same and rear is different, although there are bound to be exceptions.

They've shifted into the small ring without turning the cranks.

I suspect I may have unwittingly bought some fake 3T bars from eBay.
Does anyone know a sure fire way of telling a fake from a genuine par of Ergosum LTD?

That bike should look awesome, but the geometry teamed up with those spacers makes it look like it should have flat bars and 28c tyres. :(
