I'm tempted to replay MGS5 again but I don't have enough time
Same here. Mechanically it's one of the best stealth games out there, but it is a hell of a time sink, and the story is all over the place (not in the usual wacky Kojima way either, just a cobbled together mess).
Will probably dip in and play it the same way I've played Far Cry 3/Blood Dragon, load up the game, find an outpost and treat that as a standalone mission, and done.
Received copy of Death Stranding day early.
Can’t wait to play this.
Reason I’ve upgraded to PS4 Pro from regular one was this and Last of Us 2.
Behave - he was the Simpsons writer who wrote Marge vs. the Monorail - he'll always be a hero for that alone.
Mines in the post office cos it wouldn't fit through my letter box :(
Anyone got a flashcart for original Gameboy/GBC?
I have a M3 for GBA, and my N2DSXL is jailbroke, but I want something for the GBP.
Well, I’m totally hooked.
Started at 11pm and had to force myself to stop playing as it’s 4:30am.
Mind breaking cutscenes and story.
Kojima details everywhere.
Some really intense gameplay moments.
Amazing graphics and design.
So far - really enjoying it.
Glad I have off today :)
(talking about Death Stranding obviously)
Death Stranding is the biggest game this year
This is fucking bonkers. As expected.
Very late to Assassin's Creed.
Read that the pick of the series is -
Syndicate, Black flag, 2, Odyssey along with Origins which I've just bought and think is superb.
Anyone have a favourite /recommendation of the series?
The Ezio trilogy
Yeah, it's dated af compared to Odyssey/Origins in the looks department but I always enjoyed the Ezio stuff.
I quite enjoyed the American Revolution one - Maybe AC:3? Though I feel I'm a minority here.
Odyssey is good, tho it just kinda... Ends. Kept thinking I missed something, apparently not.
Thanks @CYOA, @greenhell, @Festerban
That was my least favourite, a walking history tour that never wanted to let you assassin
While it's not my thing, Black Flag is free on PC.
So after using 2 online guides and 2 android apps it would appear I do in fact have every Gwent card just the game didn't recognise this. Oh well I'll just crack on with the dlc
No PC unfortunately at the moment , But good to know anyway.
The American Revolution one was pants. A not bad villain but the "hero" is boring as fuck. Think they tried to be PC but ended up doing a patronizing "Noble Savage".
@sideshowbob Ezio all the way and you really need to play him from his first appearance for a great character development.
Black Flag was a return to form but pants since then. They've lost the plot and are just concentrating on the massive open world.
I misunderstood this post due to post linkage confusion as that Kojima wrote Marge vs. the Monorail, which seemed hard to believe.
He didn't of course and it was Conan O'Brien but it turned out he visited Kojima's studio and they are the same age:
One has produced content that many people see as endless tedium, though a dedicated few see it as a path to enlightenment. The other produced Death Stranding.
R4 cart arrived this morning. Lost over 3 hours to Chrono Trigger on the DS this evening.
