Yeah, it's GTA5 and SF4 on heavy rotation 'round here, but they're the games I really wanted to play on the PS3...

if you don't have ps+ it's absolutely worth the price of admission, almost makes it unneccesary to buy any games yourself.

It aint picking up the disc when it reboots... I get a black screen...

Hmm. After the initial copying from disc to drive stage it should do all the booting from the hard drive and then call on the disc to install. You might have to force it to boot from the bootcamp drive (hold alt at the chime)

I installed mine from a disc image on usb without issue, so maybe give that a go?

Cheers for the tip.. dont think it actually installs... so its trying to boot from the bootcamp partition but there is nowt on it and it isnt picking up the external cd drive this time... might try usb sticks...

I might have to give it another go then... I got loads of games thrown when I bought my PS3 but didn't really enjoy any of them... I wanted to kill myself after playing Skyrim for an hour...

I played GTA5 for four straight hours without realising last night... I'm in between missions, not sure what's happening... Switching between characters but I appear to be at a dead end... Where are the heists?!?!? I did the submarine job about four days ago and now everything's gone quiet...

SF4 it is then, I'll be dead soon...

I think some quests you have to phone different people to trigger

I've only gone and managed to get it working. It's taken about a day of faffing! Installing day z now! I wish it was raining tomo.

It didnt rain, and I went out riding, had a quick play and Day Z is ok... think you have to sink some time in it to really enjoy it, graphics are pretty damn good, guess thats the goo thing about running stuff in windows, its all optimised for games and that...

So I really want to play Mariokart 8. I mean, helloo....
