Right, well because he is waiting for new stock and because its still bloody cold out there, Chris is willing to offer a good discount on baselayers and softshells by setting up a secret lfgss page for a limited time only.
Then when the new stock is in, we can run a regular discount period like before..
Lets face it, if you buy a milwaulkie in a month or so time, its probably going to be too warm to wear! What say you kids?

Do they come up small then Clefty?
I'm a size 14 woman but could snug in to an XS old style. Worried about the arm length on these though. -
• #310
no you'll be fine, the XL has always been snug on me even on the old style, Richie and I are just 'gifted hill descenders'
the arms are bloody long on these new ones though, so that might be a problem for you. -
• #311
Pretty new here, but would definitely be up for this
-
• #312
Cheers. I think I'm going to need to try these on, It can't be right that a XS is a size 14.
-
• #313
must admit that surpises me too, I think Jayloo has an XS or S and she is tiny
-
• #314
Maybe I'm a gifted up hill rider.
I'm not small, anywhere, but it was definitely and XS I tried but think it was the old one, but then it did have very long arms.
Read the other thread and Plaurabelle mentioned a S is like an 8-10.
Any other females with the New Milwaukees? -

Any news on the much-loved discount period? My jeans are getting a little too ventilated for my tastes...
-
• #318
I actually spoke to Chris yesterday about it, he's off to the US next week - and bringing some stuff back with him. Spring discount is defo going ahead - we're looking at April at the moment.

I'm looking at a pair of 3/4's for the Tweed Run weekend. Not for the ride, but just as an alternative to gimpware lycra. Hope the discount kicks in before then!

Awesome, need to get me some more short shorts..
-
• #321
I really want all of the trousers and some jeans. has anyone tried out the WWR trousers?
how useful are they in summer time- ie commuting?cheers.

I've got the WWR shorts - lovely in the rain they are, stupidly comfy and not too scruffy looking, would probably reccomend the cotton pants for the summer though
-
• #323
Yep, I've got the cotton pants and they are awesome. Great flexible fit when compared to normal jeans. I've even done a few longer rides in them and barely noticed. Almost stain resistant, too and no signs of wear after nearly 3 months of continual use.

I need a new pair of WWR shorts. They're awesome and hard wearing but I've had the misfortune of a few wrecks in them. Easily patched but they're starting to look scruffy.
Still have my herringbone and cotton ones in excellent shape for summer.
